Travel Planning — Passion project and soon-to-be side hustle?

Friends and family *love* my thoroughly researched vacation itineraries. By the time my feet hit the ground somewhere, I’m essentially a tour guide — even when it’s my first time visiting.
My wife and I like to take our pups along when we travel, but they sure can be a handful. I don’t know if you’ve ever met a German Shorthaired Pointer, but they have THE MOST energy. So when we were embarking on a New England road trip in 2021, I decided we needed to know any and every dog-friendly spot in the places we were visiting. By the end, I had compiled an exhaustive guide of our stays in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
Fast forward to today, and travel guides have become a staple of any trip we take. I love to zoom in on Google Maps around all the locations we’re planning to visit, where we’re staying and even the routes we’ll take to get there, noting the most exceptional places to hike, grab conveniences or stop along the way — and especially the absolute most amazing places to eat or grab a beer. I’ve become so detailed and thorough in my planning, friends of ours have started inquiring about me creating guides for their own getaways!
Recently, our little family made its third annual trip to the Finger Lake, and for the occasion I did a full workup of pretty much the entire region, complete with hours of operation for establishments since we were spending the entire week.
Yes, I’ve been told it’s mostly breweries but, to be fair, my wife used to work in the beer industry.
Need help planning your next trip or just looking for somebody who’s an expert researcher, super detail-oriented and just loves writing? I’m your guy.
